Saosin Rocks the House at Nightfall!

Nightfall and KFMA teamed up to present alternative rock band Saosin live at Nightfall on Wednesday, October 21. The band, from California's Orange County, made a special appearance on the Grand Palace stage before a full house.

Check out some highlights of their visit.


The guys give an impromptu interview to the Gargoyles (Vinny and Guido) who hold court from the top of the courthouse.

KRQ's Joe Joe in the (haunted) House

KRQ's night man hit the streets of Nightfall ready to go!  First up, was giving a shout out to the Gargoyles, whose interview you can hear on Joe Joe's blog page.

Next up he tackled the mechanical bull.  Look at that form!

Joe Joe caught the show at Club Hyde (a/k/a the Grand Palace Saloon).  "Necrosis Party of Six" tells the story of of an unauthorized Hip-Hop competition in Nightfall after it closes, which results in deadly consequences for the unsuspecting participants.


Later, Joe Joe answered the call for volunteers to be hynotized in Crazy Joe's Hypno Show.  These shots of Joe Joe (far right, left of Hypno Joe) and the other volunteers showcase their talents after receiving a suggestion that they were back-up dancers for Britney Spears.  After the show, Joe Joe and Hypno Joe meet.

HOT983's Pablo Hangin' Loose at Nightfall

Pablo Sato hit Nightfall like a mini tsunami on Friday night pitching right in to promote the upcoming Flo Rida performance at Nightfall on Thursday, October 29.



Once that business was disposed of, Pablo set out to make friends of the towns "people."  Below he meets Sherriff Clampett and closely inspects a resident of the seriously haunted Inferno.  Like most people, Pablo just couldn't resist a chainsaw-toting, blood-spattered, grotesquely grinning clown.  He got to the point where he even started to look like a local.  That's when we knew he'd had enough and sent him packing.


 

 

Pablo will back on Halloween night for the Nightfall Costume Contest.
